This 5″ Pencil Popper was developed for Cape Cod Canal fishing after an experienced Canal fisherman modified the original Yellow Floating Pencil by adding extra weight for longer casting and improved performance in the current.

This became the inspiration for the PTP’s Canal Pencil Popper. The lure features the Hog Island signature Blood Red mouth and chin over a yellow-haloed white belly and is rigged with 4X VMC hooks.
